Families watch Santa's sleigh, a 90-piece marching band and elves on reindeer tricycles travel along Pitt Street, and can walk along. At Martin Place, Santa lights the 24m Christmas tree around 8:30pm, followed by fireworks. DJs and roving entertainment play earlier.
Good to know
- No one can ride on the sleigh with Santa, but everyone is welcome to walk along.
- Public transport is recommended; call 131 500 or visit Transport NSW to plan your trip.
